Our first appearance at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is now just days away, and the butterflies have certainly begun to flutter.
For the show, which opens on May 21, we have an all-new display, incredible new lighting and even a celebrity appearance from a certain Loose Woman in store!
Standing proud
Following a robust application and design approval process which examined our presentation down to the minutest detail, we’ve constructed an original, eye-catching display.
We feel very fortunate to be appearing in the Raleigh Gardens (stand AR544) – right at the heart of the show. Our contemporary shell-scheme stand in anthracite grey features an oxidised metal sheet wall, painstakingly created through a three-month process of salting and spraying, along with long grasses and bamboo we’ve grown ourselves, to provide vibrant contrasting greens.
The stand has been specially designed to create maximum impact against the glow of our handcrafted fixtures – but more on these later…
A famous face
Earlier this year we were contacted by Interior Designer Isabelle Morley-Fletcher on behalf of her client Saira Khan – star of Loose Women and Dancing on Ice.
Following conversations with both, we crafted a custom-made pendant ceiling light cluster and a number of pieces from our Alchemist Collection for the refurbishing of Saira’s Oxfordshire home.
It was a real pleasure to work with both Isabelle and Saira, who was impressed that all our Alchemist lights are made locally in Derbyshire near to where she grew up.
We’re delighted to announce that Saira and Isabelle will be popping down for a visit on the morning of Monday, May 20 (VIP & Press Day). We’re looking forward to showing them what we’ve been up to!
Lighting up Chelsea
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show attracts international guests who know a thing or two about outstanding garden design – so what better place could there be to present our collections?
The combination of stacked glass and our innovative ECO MOSO bamboo couldn’t be more striking, and it is now appearing in projects all over the world.
We hope visitors to the show will be drawn in by our flagship GCD Collection, including our ECO Classic bollard and ECO Grande LED bollard lights, before being dazzled by our showcase of matching ECO bamboo wall lights.
Also on display will be orbital pendants from our Alchemist collection, including our new outdoor LED pendants – original fittings specifically designed for pergolas and fire pit areas. Plus, our dramatic 60cm-high outdoor orbital floor lamp will be on show.
These bespoke orbitals are available in patina (rusty) finish, raw steel or – for the very first time – solid copper, which looks absolutely magnificent.
The wait is nearly over
Even the planning stages for Chelsea have been remarkable, giving the sense something truly special is about to commence.
